2 and a half...where did the time go
Hello, it has been awhile since my last post! Evan and Owen are 2.5 years old now. They are no longer our babies, rather our little men.
Both are really smart...mom has taught both boys the alphabet....and they don't have to sing the song to know what the letter is...they really know it. They still struggle with about 6-7 letters each, but give us another month and they'll know them all!!
We have an accident prone boy. While I was out of town on business, Owen fell and busted his head open. It was a battle between his head and the pot holding a large indoor plant and the pottery won. Collette had to experience the first emergency room visit without me...luckily Stacy, Krista, Kelli, and Jeremy were around. 4 stitches later, Owen was back at play. He has also fallen down 8 stairs (no injury), re-opened his wound from above will bouncing in a bounce-house, and who can forget his tooth injury, when he busted his mouth on a coffee table. Meanwhile, Evan never has a boo boo.
This week, we turned their cribs into toddler beds..they told us thank you over and over. They really like having "big boy" beds to sleep in. Seems like yesterday when they were in the isolates in the NICU unit...where did 2.5 years go??
