Healing Knees

Healing knees -- what I mean by this is that Owen has now started walking and his knees are not so bruised anymore. It has been a long road for him, but after taking a few steps here and there, he really started walking this past weekend. Dad got home from a trip to Michigan and boom, Owen was walking more often than not. Owen is still in physical therapy and wears a collar 8 hours a day to help his torticollis, but he is doing great.

Evan is starting to try to mock our words - maybe a sign that more words than dada, mama, and kitty cat are on the way. Just a note so Evan can read later -- thanks Evan for biting a chunk out of your Dad last night. He bit me so hard it brought a tear to my eye. It is probably my fault. When Evan and I roughouse around the house, Dad gives him Love Bites. He just hasn't figured out the difference between a nibble and a chomp! Wow, that hurt and Dad has a bruise to show for it.

Our next transition maybe Mom going back to work. I hate to think about it -- not sure if her working will be tougher for the boys or Mom. I think Mom -- she'll miss being around her boys all day long. If my lottery numbers hit tonight, Mom and Dad will stay home.
